Join Red Mirror Events Off Road for our inaugural event of 2025! Three days of group trail riding on some of the best hidden gems in the smoky mountains and surrounding areas. The Cherokee National Forest is home to some of the most spectacular panoramic views in the Appalachian Mountains, and the only way to see these remote locations is by getting off the beaten path. During this three-day event, you can enjoy the experience of trail riding without any planning on your part. Participants are divided into groups of ten vehicles led by one of our experienced lead drivers. Each day's route is totally unique from the other, and all are filled with beautiful views, interesting stops and a catered picnic style lunch included with registration. The routes are rated easy to moderate and include both dirt and gravel trails. There are several shallow water crossings, lots of switchbacks, and some steep inclines and descents. All trails are wide enough to accommodate medium to full size, high clearance vehicles. Although pin striping should not be an issue, please understand that with any trail riding, the possibility is always there. Due to the remoteness of the routes, the daily travel average is between 150-175 miles. Fuel stops are located mid route on each day's drive. 
Nestled in Townsend TN otherwise known as the quiet side of the smokies, is the newly remodeled Tremont Lodge & Resort, our home base for the event. Located just 30 minutes from Maryville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, it's a very relaxing location without all the traffic and noise of being in town. Pickleball courts, both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, miniature golf and fire pit are free for your enjoyment. A car wash is conveniently located basically across the street and two coffee shops within a mile. A discounted rate is provided to registrants as well as a complimentary hot breakfast. 
As with all Red Mirror Events, a catered banquet dinner party is provided on Saturday evening for registered attendees and passengers with meal vouchers. Casual dress of course and most importantly, a cash bar serving drinks until 11:00pm. 
This event is limited to 30 vehicles and is a rain or shine event.  
Open to gas powered high clearance 4x4 vehicles only.
